Phentermine 37.5

Phentermine 37.5

Phentermine 37.5 is sold in tablets, like the ones shown here, and in capsule form.

What is Phentermine 37.5

Weight loss is a struggle for nearly everyone who makes a goal to lose even a few pounds. And while it seem there are magic pills advertised everywhere, it seems that Phentermine 37.5 is the one pill that comes to the top of the list of possibilities. Only available as a prescription, this medication is helping obese patients find the energy and the motivation to lose the weight they need to lose. When you’re ready to lose weight, Phentermine 37.5 might be the diet pill you use.

Phentermine 37.5 is labelled as such because it contains 37.5mg of Phentermine HCl (phentermine hydrochloride). There are many different versions of phentermine weight loss drugs, and Phentermine 37.5mg is the most commonly prescribed. Adipex is a brand name of this drug and contains the same ingredients.

How Does Phentermine 37.5 Work?

If you’re ready to lose weight, you need help in two areas – appetite suppression and exercise. While you might have the best possible plan for your weight loss diet, if you have troubles managing your appetite, you may find you can’t stick to any plan. By using Phentermine 37.5, you can begin to control your appetite so that you can follow your chosen plan. It will allow you to create a calorie deficit in your day, which will speed up your weight loss plans. Sometimes the restriction of calories can lead to troubles with energy levels as well. With Phentermine 37.5, you will find you have more energy to get through the day, with energy left over for exercising and burning even more calories.

Am I Right for Phentermine 37.5?

What you need to remember is that these diet pills are not for everyone, just as no medication is perfect for everyone. Instead, you need to check with your doctor to make sure that you fit into several criteria:

  • Need to lose more than 20 pounds – You want to have a substantial amount of weight to lose as Phentermine 37.5 is a powerful drug to use.
  • No health troubles – If you have a history of high blood pressure, heart troubles, thyroid problems, or other chronic conditions, you may not be a candidate for Phentermine 37.5.
  • No prescription medication – Many prescription medications can interact with Phentermine 37.5, causing dangerous reactions and possibly even fatal outcomes.
  • Able to handle potential side effects – Since these diet pills can possibly cause a number of side effects, you need to be willing to deal with these effects as you lose weight.

Phentermine 37.5 Alternatives

If you’re not the best person for Phentermine 37.5, then you should know there are alternatives. Alternatives like FenFast Tablets work similarly to these diet pills without the side effects and without making you go to the doctor to get the prescription. With the same appetite suppression and energy boosting properties, you can reach your weight loss goals without having to worry.

Weight loss doesn’t have to be difficult when you have some diet pill help. Checking to see what pills are available is the first step, but then considering their effects on your health and life is next. Phentermine 37.5 can help a number of patients, but know that alternatives exist which are just as effective and perhaps even safer.

I was on phen. 37.5 a year ago for 3 months and lost 35 lbs. Got down to 175. In the year I’ve been off them I gained back 10 lbs. I’ve recently went to the doctor to get another prescription and have been on them for 5 days and they aren’t working. No energy serge like before, I’m still hungry, I used to get dry mouth, I don’t this time around. It’s like these pills are not the same… yet they look the same as the first time I took them. I wonder if the pharmaceutical company that makes these put out a bad batch or maybe these pills are expired?
Anyone else have the same experience?

500 calories a day is no way safe! If you go to a doctor for bariatrics, they can do a test to see how many calories your body burns at rest-your basal metabolic rate. If you take in less than your basal energy expenditure you decrease your metabolism and increase fat storage. Also this drug is a controlled substance…you should be careful not to get addicted. NEVER buy any drug off the Internet, you have no clue what you are taking. A good doctor will do an EKG and basic labs to check liver and kidney function before taking this medication! Most doctors recommend only taking for 3 months then getting off for awhile!

Hi, I was just curious, I have been taking Phentermine 37.5 for a month now, I love the results, but couldn’t really afford to keep going to the doc to get a script. So I ordered some Phentermine HCL online. Will it have the same effect Phentermine 37.5 offers?

Reply

Jhernandez March 1, 2013 at 4:00 am

No. When you order the prescription online it’s not phentermine. Pay close attention to the spelling of the word. Online it will be “phentramine” with an “a”. I’ve purchased them and they do not work it’s a waste of money. The prescription from the doctor is much better and the real thing.

I started working out on 11/8/11 I was 193. I started working out with a trainer in December and in Jan 2012 is at 190.6. I started taking the phen pills and I weigh myself every Wed. 1/25/12 I was at 187.4, 2/9/12 186, 2/15 185, 2/22 183.8, 3/7 181.7. I changed my eating habits to eating healthy making sure I eat vegetables, fruits, ect. I incorporated execrise on 1/10/12 from 30 minutes on the treadmill, and lifting weights. I started phen on 1-11/12. I would take it during the week and not on the weekend. Then I started taking it maybe 4 days during the week and on the weekend when I stopped working out. When I use phen and don’t work out I am losing 1lb. a week.I increased up to 3 miles and I stop workingout and just took phen and eat healtly. I stop working out on 02/1/2012. I am getting ready to start back working out. I can see a change and my clothes are to big in the waist. Total I have lost 12 pounds. It works; if I would take it daily and work out I probably would reach my goal by the summer of 150.

Started June of 2011. I was 232 and am currently 186. I take phentermine and the lipo B shot and capsaicin. I walk a mile a day, drink plenty of water, jumprope, do sit up, push up and eat about 6 meals a day ( 1500 cal). It’s no longer a diet, it’s a life style. Many will tell you what to do and how to do but I don’t let people dictate what I eat or how or when I work out. I started out walking 15 minutes a day. Then it was eatting breakfast, then increasing my water intake, then exercise. Now I can tie my shoes in the front and not the side and my thighs aren’t play patty cake. LOLO. I don’t take it everyday and sometimes I go two weeks. I have noticed that I lose on or off if I keep the same food and exercise schedule. My goal is “Sexy” so I’m not sure how long it will be when I see that in the mirror but stay encouraged and do what works best for you.

I just received a prescription for Phentermine 37.5 because my cholesterol & weight are crazy. I see a lot of people asking about buying it, but I can tell you that my script says the retail price w/out insurance for a 90 day supply is only $75.93 if that helps anyone. I really hope this helps me to change my lifestyle!

I just got prescribed Phentermine 37.5 can I get any good pointers on what I should do while taking this? like cardio for 30 min how many times a day and also good healthy food besides fruit and drinking green tea?

Hi mimi,
I have been on it now for two months and have lost 46 pounds. I have noticed when you eat any sugar it slows down the weight loss.. Exercise everyday.. Drink lots of water more then the usual 8 glasses a day. reduce the carbs and no fried food. And you should have a great start.

I have heard that if you are taking them and getting the opposite reaction you may have adult add and adderolwould work great. I’m not sure on that but maybe you could check it out. Also maybe the dosage isn’t high enough, definitely discuss it with your doctor. I’m taking the 37.5 and they work well for me if I take it around 11. My issue is not having insurance and I just relocated and have to find a new doctor and pay for that on top of the prescription. If anyone has found something that works just as well without a prescription I would love to hear about it :)

Azsa – Adipex and Phentermine 37.5 are typically prescribed only to those people who are heavily overweight or obese. Unless you are at risk of suffering from weight-related health problems or you are obese, it is unlikely a doctor will prescribe Adipex for you.

is it still safe to order the Phentermine 37.5 online? is it the same as Adipex from the doctor?

Reply

Samantha – Phentermine 37.5 is the same as Adipex, just the generic form of it. It is not safe to order either of these products online. You should always try to buy it from a walk-in pharmacy (with a doctor’s prescription) to make sure you are getting the real thing.

Reply

Jhernandez March 1, 2013 at 3:55 am

Phentermine can only be given by prescription. If you get it online it will be phentramine with an “a”. Phentramine does not work. I’ve ordered it online and it was a waste of money.

Could you please tell me how to order the Phentermine-37.5. I have no health issues such as thyroid or blood pressure. I am not taking any medication for any reason. I want to lose at least 80-90 pounds. My current weight is 242. Thank-you

Deb – The safest way to order Phentermine 37.5 is to get a prescription for it from your doctor then fill your prescription at a walk-in pharmacy. This way you know you will be getting the real thing and you will be assured by your doctor that it is safe for you to take.

Are they the same as you would get from the pharmacy? I also have a thyroid problems that i take medicine for it. Why can’t I loss any weight?

I’v been taken Phentermine for a 1 1/2 now on and off. When I first started I weight 210 and now I’m at 163. I’m 5’3 and my goal is to get down to 150 r 145. Its best if u also work-out while you take them. I just feel like since I have been on them so long that they are not working like they were when I first started. Do I need to take like 2 a day, and is that safe to da?

Reply

admin March 30, 2011 at 6:41 pm

armetra – Phentermine loses effectiveness when taken for long periods of time. You will likely need to stop taking them for a few months then re-evaluate another prescription with your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dosage unless your doctor recommends it.
