Vodka Soda

One of the simplest low cal cocktails that you can enjoy this summer is a vodka soda. Quick to make, all you have to do is fill up a glass with some ice. Then, add ¼ cup of vodka and ½ cup of soda before stirring it all together. For added flavor, you can even add some lime juice. This recipe has around 96 calories, so you can go ahead and indulge.

Mojito

One of the classic low cal cocktails is the mojito, coming in at around 168 calories. Start by grabbing a 10-ounch glass and mixing 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice with 2 teaspoons of sugar until the sugar has totally dissolved. Then add in ¼ cup of crushed ice. Next, grab 12 mint leaves and rub them over the rim before tearing them in half and adding them to the mix in the glass, stirring it all together. Add in ¼ cup of white rum, ¾ cup of crushed ice, and 2 tablespoons of club soda. Stir it together for a few seconds, and enjoy!

Sazerac

For something different that you might’ve never had before, you can make a sazerac cocktail, which contains around 136 calories. You’ll need to add ice to a glass before combining ½ teaspoon of sugar, 4 dashes of Peychaud Bitters, and 12 teaspoons of water together in another glass. Muddle everything together until the sugar has dissolved. Then, add in 2 ounces of your favorite rye whiskey. Fill that with ice, stir it together, and set it aside. Returning to your first glass, you can remove the ice from it and add in ½ teaspoon of Herbsaint in a way that allows it to coat the interior of the glass. Strain the second glass you were working with, pouring it into the glass that has been chilled with the ice. Enjoy!
